Ian Burrell & TheRumLab.com are proud to celebrate the 2nd Miami Rum Congress. The boutique style event will showcase a handful of brands that emphasise on the education and premiumization of the rum category. The rum congress will be at the Shane Center (6500 Indian Creek Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33141)
The USA is considered one of the most important countries for the entire rum industry. Before the American Revolution, rum was the most consumed spirit, and now an awakening is occurring.
Our team is the producers of the UK Rum Festival, Puerto Rico Rum Festival "Taste of Rum", California, New York and Chicago Rum Festival. All events are attracting hundreds of people from trade, rum aficionados, tourists & locals.
The Miami Rum Congress will be divided in two days.

1. Friday, Feb 7th - Rum education program design to elevate the knowledge of rum aficionados & industry professionals.
   
2. Saturday, Feb 8th - Rum Tasting event and rum symposiums

NoMi Fest is the City of North Miami's highly anticipated signature old school music explosion! This year’s line-up includes CeeLo Green.

The 5th Annual NoMi Music Fest is the City of North Miami's highly anticipated signature old school music explosion! It is an unforgettable night of live music, a DJ spinning your favorite old school hits, food and friends gathered under the stars of North Miami.
This year’s line-up includes CeeLo Green and many more! And back by popular demand, the event will be hosted by Chubb Rock.

Giving Back
In 2018 Councilman Desulme and his fellow North Miami elected officials voted to introduce the North Miami Low Income Home Utility Bills Assistance Foundation, Inc. The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to North Miami in need of monetary assistance to pay their utility bill. In 2019, Desulme’s vision of adding a charitable component to the NoMi Fest Experience was birthed. A small admission fee was added to the concert, with a goal of contributing funds to the North Miami Water Utility Bill Assistance Program Fund.

The event was inspired in 2016 by the vision of Councilman Alix Desulme, Ed.D., during his first term as North Miami’s Honorary Black History Month Co-Chairman. Created in 2016, as Music in the Plaza, NoMi Fest has outgrown its original venue, MOCA Plaza, and transformed by demand into a full-fledged festival, delighting audiences of up to 4,000 guests.
