2024 BLACK MUSIC HONORS SET TO TAPE SATURDAY, MAY 18TH AT THE COBB ENERGY PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE IN ATLANTA, GA; WITH RETURNING CO-HOSTS LETOYA LUCKETT AND DERAY DAVIS Chicago-based Central City Productions announces the first set of performers for the 9th Annual Black Music Honors set to take place at the renowned Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, May 18th. Black Music Honors is an annual event that celebrates the illustrious achievements and exceptional contributions of Black music icons. Joining the previously announced honorees are performers: BLK ODYSSY, Chanté Moore, Donald Lawrence, Kevin Lemons & Higher Calling, Ricky Dillard, MonoNeon, Shanice, The Chi (Carl Thomas, Dave Hollister & Syleena Johnson) and Tone Stith. The ceremony will be co-hosted by singer and actress LeToya Luckett alongside comedic actor DeRay Davis and will honor Johnny Gill, Patrice Rushen, Bootsy Collins and Hezekiah Walker.
