Max Romeo (Jamaica) - Died: April 11, 2025, at age 80 - A pioneer of roots reggae, Max Romeo gained fame with his 1968 hit "Wet Dream" and later with politically charged albums like War Ina Babylon. He collaborated with producer Lee "Scratch" Perry and remained active in music throughout his life.

Cocoa Tea (Jamaica) - Died: March 2025, at age 65 - Born Colvin Scott, Cocoa Tea was known for hits like "Rocking Dolly" and "I Lost My Sonia." He founded the Roaring Lion label and supported artists such as Buju Banton and Sizzla.
